Just returned from the beautiful island that is Sardinia for this years week long Sun & Bass festival aka paradise! Took 14 friends with me this time and had a proper crack out there! Lots of sun, food, good music and great company! Massive shouts to all my crew + Nu:Tone & Logistics (who I MC'd for on Wed night), Marcus Intalex, DRS, D-Bridge, SP:MC, Lowqui, SPY, Presha, Stamina, Klute, Camo & Krooked and loads more! One of the best gigs of the year!
Yes, just a little recap. Another great year for Big Chill, weather held up & it seemed busier than ever (which is a good & bad thing). Hosted London Elektricity's set on Friday as part of the Hospitality showcase. Amazing crowd, tent rammed out and Danny Byrd, Contrast, Netsky, AD & Dynamite all killed it as well. Then on Sat I jumped on to host Breakage on the Startburst stage. To say he destroyed it, would be a massive understatement! James torn the place down, which makes my job very easy when he's playing music like that! Also out to Toddla T, Amo, Daddy G, Redlight and loads more friendly faces I caught up with. Now for 2 weeks off gigs and a little holiday trip to Dorset to chill. Next stop Ibiza in 2 weeks. Word to your mother...
Been on abit of a eastern block adventure this month w/ London Elek & Nu:Tone, with festivals in Serbia, Moscow, Slovakia and Prague. Seen some funny sights on my way and have performed in a dust storm, deep in the Russian wilderness, on the wing of a aeroplane and lastly in a actual Slovakian castle! So its been emotional! Didn't take many pics this month which was a error, but was sent a couple of videos from Let It Roll festival in Prague - which was amazing! Shout to Marky, Stamina, Krooked, Evil Intent, Phace, Nu:Tone, London Elek, Spor, Mr Contrast, Breakage and all others I've bumped into somewhere strange in Eastern Europe. Word to that...
Played the main stage with Tony last Friday at Serbia's Exit festival after some rock bands who looked like they needed a wash (and hair cut). Breakage also rocked the main stage with Stamina MC. Much love to super promoter Mario! Bigness - now check some snaps...
So just back from a long weekend and mini tour of Japan. Took the misses and linked up with the Colman family. Myself and Tony/London Elektricity played Triangle in Osaka and Unit in Tokyo. Both great gigs and lovely to hook up with all my Japanese family and friends. Big love to Fumi & Kamba @ DBS for hosting the whole tour, plus my homeboys MC Leo, DJ Kom, Hiroshi @ Future Unknown and MC Cardz. I've said it before and will say it again - Japan is still one of my favourite places on the planet! Great food, company, parties and yes... SHOPPING!
Yes folks, its that time and I can't bloody wait! The World Cup is nearly here! So yes, we will probably go out to Germany or Portugal in the quarters on Pen's, but fuck it... I'm bang up for it. To help get everyone in the mood, the dynamic duo aka Dom and Brad aka 'The Bald One and The Big One', better known to most as THE NEXTMEN present to you their 'World Cup 2010 - England Expects' mix. You will love it...

For those that know... Exit festival is the nuts. Did it a few years ago with High Contrast and it was amazing! Catch me on the Friday night June 9th alongside London Elektricity, playing after Missy Elliott! Mika is also on the bill, so if I run into him backstage, I'll be sure to give him a slap from each and every one of you! Don't get me started ;-0
Check the new Mars advert below! Love the rap from Barnsey! Oh and my mate Kivanc makes a cheeky guest appearance. He's in the England shirt next to John. Gwan Kivanc - you joker!
Due to the fact that myspace has now become completely useless on a whole new level - I've had to take action! They (the mongos at myspace) have now made in practically impossible to enter tour dates on your page, which was the only real value in the whole myspace thing anyway. So moaning to one side, here are my tour dates over the next few months. It took me ages to type these bloody dates out! Moan, moan, moan...
Been doing this residency for a year now and its always slammin'. But honestly this one the best one yet! Really friendly and up for it crowd, a quality line up and just a great vibe. I hosted sets for the Brazilian and Welsh don's (thats code for DJ Marky and High Contrast). Both smacked it. Check the pics. Pow...
Had a wicked gig in Rome with Roni a few weeks back. Last time I went to Rome was in 1998 during a stoned Euro-railing month long trip and I have little recollection about the place apart from 9 pizza's, a mo-ped and purchasing fake Italian football merchandise.
Anyway this time was great, lovely crowd, meet some cool people and also sneaked in a pizza at 5am with Roni at some dodgy road side cafe. We keep it gully.
Another smasher down at The Plug, hosted by the good people at Detonate. I hosted sets for London Elek and dutch masters Nosia, who both killed it. Big love to James, Rich and Kath, the best promoters in the bizz. Yeh I said it!
Had last night off so as five of my mates are taking part in the GumBall Rally, we all passed through the launch party in some booozzie hotel in London. For those that don't know, the GumBall is a rally for the ubber rich and flashy which races across Europe and then finishes in NYC. This year's stars include the one like the mighty Hoff, plus Tony Hawk, Xzibit, Eve, Dizzee Rascal, Jade Jagger, Stringer from The Wire and loads more super minted characters. Anyway my pals Monkey, Jasper, Dulla, Meta4 & Will are driving for the DTA team from LA. Check some snaps from the launch, photos by Will.
Welcome to my blog 'Round The World In 80 Raves'. Keep checking back for pictures, videos and tales from my travels.
