Hospitality Brighton returns to Digital on Saturday 10th October for the start of the new bimonthly residency. Not only that, its the 4th Birthday too of brighton Hospitality! Room one will see Danny Byrd, Blame, Cyantific, Nu:Tone & Matrix grace the decks whilst MC's Stamina, A.D & myself take care of microphone duties. Room 2 is hosted by Hessle Audio and feature Ramadanman, Luke Envoy & UFO. Happy Birthday us!

Paris Sept 2009

Just got back from Paris. Its been three years since I was last there and I forgot how much I love that city. Played at Jungle Juice on Sat night with Spor. Had to be the hottest (as in temp) club I've played in EVER! I nearly fainted on stage about 4 times, totally fucked my new jeans and trainers, but its all in the good name of Jungle music! Big shout to all the Jungle Juice crew who were a great bunch and put on a rammed and extremly hot party. The following day avec my misses, we hung out all day and evening in Paris, eating frogs legs, onion soup and massive baguettes with ham and cheese... as you do. Infact we both ate a massive steak each and fell asleep in the park next to Le Place Du Concord (thats probably spelt wrong). I also rolled my jeans up to look extra french. 'Ce Bon'

This weekend... it's London, Manchester & Paris

Bestival 2009

I love this festival, great location and line-up and a great end to a busy busy festival season! Last year was muddy as f*&k, but this year... the weather was absolutely perfect! Shout to all my Brighton crew, Spectrasoul, Kasra, Howard Reprise, and all crews! I played on Friday evening with London Elektricity between Zane Lowe and Chase & Status, and the crowd was crazy in the Bollywood tent! Thanks to Rob Da Bank to another great festival! Oh and check the fancy dress vibes! Outta space stylee (thats me in the shit space helmet) ;-)

The Nextmen LP launch & the last ever Friends & Family @ Cargo was a total roadblock with the que around the corner at 7.45pm! An amazing turnout for the last ever Friends & Family and what a way to go out - on top! Lots of lovely people, a banging BBQ and outside soundsystem, live art show from Daydream Network and then of course there was the music! Ross from PTH, The Nextmen and myself, Ms. Dynamite, High Contrast (played a mash-up set) and then Si & Frank & Kwasi played the last set. Big love to all the F&F crew and of course the main man himself... Mr. Tom Todd aka Toddington!

Big Chill 2009

I bloody love the Big Chill. I played there in 2005 & 2007 and both times the gigs have rated as some of the best I've ever done! 2009 was even better if thats possible! We had a 5,000 strong crowd of lovely people, who knew about good music - going fucking crazy to Nextmen's mash-up selection of reggae, soul, hip hop, dubstep, 80's classics, bootlegs, remix after remix and d&b. THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL MASH UP DJ'S! Don't ever get that twisted. Check the pics... and big love to all the Big Chillers. Till next year!

David Rodigan live in Brighton!

We hosted the legend and true gentleman that is Sir David Rodigan last night at our launch party for Hush Your Beak @ The Coalition in Brighton, and what a night it was! Rodi 'Ram Jam' Rodigan smashed down the club like a true, original pioneer, killing the dance with the freshest dub's from Jamaica and of course his original exclusive selection! Perhaps the most impressive DJ I've ever witnessed... and thats the truth! Also got to shout out another legend Earl Gateshead from Trojan Records who also played and to Fat Boy Slim for rolling through! Rodigan will be back in Brighton with us in 2010. "give me some signal!" Fucking amazing...

Australia & New Zealand tour with London Elektricity May/June 2009

Just got back from an amazing tour of Australia and New Zealand which saw us play Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington. Massive thanks and shouts to all the promoters and people that helped put this tour on. We had 6 sell out shows in a row and then two festivals! Big love to Dion @ Loaded Dice, The Truth, Stuart @ Ministry, Dave Subtronics, Jeff, Seb Slice, Jeff Moving Fusion, D-Dog, Well Being, Patch, Pete Mac and all the Sydney crew, plus all my mates in over that side of the world. Moscow with London Elektricity

Just back from Moscow! Was my forth time to this strange and wonderful city, and maybe the best party yet out there! We played at 16 Ton and was a complete sell-out show. The following morning we tried to attend the 2nd World War Parade but didn't have tickets to get into the Red Square. We tried to bribe some Ruskie coppa in a massive hat - but no joy, plus he looked fucking moody. Anyway... check the pics...

Pukkelpop festival Belgium with High Contrast

Last week I was back on the road with Mr. Contrast, and back in Belgium for the Pukkelpop festival. We played between Sebastain (Ed Banger) and the legendary Carl Craig. The place was packed and once again Lincon brought the goodness. I have to mention the really rude guy we ran into in the artist production office. I think he was in control of the wrist bands and took about 15mins to give our bloody passes... a proper jobs worth! and ended up making us late going on. Tosser. I played Porto the following day with Tony Colman and was due to flight to Poland for Creamfields the following day. However the plane (pictured below) was late, so I missed my connecting flight. Shit happens though...

Newquay Rip Curl Boardmasters festival with The Nextmen & Zarif

Last Wednesday I did the LONG train journey down to Newquay, Cornwall avec mon dj's Dom and Brad aka the mighty Nextmen. Zarif was in tow as well to PA their new 'Something Got You' remix (out Sept 15th). Got to say a wicked show once again and nice to bump into stable mates the Part Time Heroes and also my old muckers... Rodney P and Poppa Skitz. Was amazing. We played as the sun came up on the main stage after the likes of Jullet & The Licks, Afrika Babaataa and Manu Chao.. we were told 25,000 aprox in the crowd at 6am! Nutters... check the pics...

Snowbombing Festival Austria April 2008 with Scratch Perverts and DJ Marky

In early April we all headed out to play the superb Snowbombing festival in 'ze Austrian mountains'. Did some boarding, did'nt break anything and had a blast in the snow. I did two shows; Monday night with the Scratch Perverts. 1,500 people going nuts to a mash-up set of big, big tunes! Then on the Tuesday I had the honour of hosting 'Marky & Friends', and had the pleasure of MC'ing over a superb three way back to back to back session featuring DJ Marky, Marcus Intelex and Nu Tone. Was one of the best sets I've ever worked on! The tune selection was the bollocks! Shout to Marky, Nu:Tone, Marcus, Stanton Warriors, Scratch Perverts, Plastic Little, Dr Laub, Tom Coda, Ali B, Ben Westbeach, Calvin Harris, Marc Roberts, James Zabelia, Earl Gateshead and the Trojan Crew and everyone else I caught up with. Oh and big shout to my Brighton crew who repped 10 deep all week! Nice...
